Details
MAX2 is GoPro's 360 camera, recording true 8K spherical video from two 1/2.3" sensors that combine to 29 million pixels. It shoots everything around you at once, so shots are chosen afterwards by reframing the footage in the Quik app rather than aiming the camera at the time. It also works as a conventional action camera with 4K60 single-lens capture and a 180° field of view through the Max HyperView digital lens. The optical glass lenses twist off by hand for replacement in the field, and the body is waterproof to 5m with a 1.82" touchscreen and a 1960mAh cold-weather Enduro battery.
