What the stock status means
- In stock On the shelf in our own warehouse. Order before 2pm and it is despatched the same working day; bikes we build are built, safety-checked and despatched in 2-3 working days.
- In stock with our supplier Not on our shelves, but our supplier has it or it is already on its way to us. We bring it in as soon as you order, and the despatch estimate shown allows for that.
- Out of stock Neither we nor our supplier has it right now. Where a date is shown, more is on order and you can order now to secure one from that delivery.
- Stock to be confirmed Not on our shelves, and our supplier does not send us stock figures for it, so we cannot say how soon we could get one. Use "Check availability" and we will ask them and email you back.

There’s nothing to make stealing an unlocked wheel quicker and easier than conventional quick release skewers, as no tools are required. Even Hex bolt skewers have a downfall when it comes to security, as all that stands between them and your wheels is an Allen key.
Halo's Anti-Theft Skewers add an extra level of protection from any thief looking to steal your unlocked wheel, as they will need an Allen key with a hole in the centre to accept the additional security pin.
Halo Anti-Theft Skewers includes a Hex pin tool for your home tool box, and we’ve added a security hex pin tool onto a handy anodised alloy key ring fob, which also includes a bottle opener.
Skewers are available in 3 types:
Front Standard (156mm rod)
- Standard QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
- Over Locknut Dimension of 100mm.
- Dropouts up to 8mm thick.
Rear Road Standard (188mm rod)
- Standard Road QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
- Over Locknut Dimension of 130mm.
- Dropouts up to 9mm thick.
Rear MTB standard or XL Road (192mm rod)
- Standard MTB QR type hub with 5mm internal skewer clearance.
- Over Locknut Dimension of 135mm.
- Dropouts up to 8.5mm thick.
