The Crankbrothers Mallet Trail Lace clip-in shoe is the perfect blend of performance and adventure. Engineered for thrill-seekers, this trail-ready shoe was built with rugged durability and long-distance comfort in mind—so you stay confident on and off the bike.
A synthetic upper features a classic lace-up closure system complete with lace pocket, plus perforations for breathability and a TPU-reinforced toe box for added protection. A fiber-reinforced nylon shank and aggressive outsole lugs ensure pedaling efficiency and terrain versatility on every ride.
Crankbrothers innovative Match System optimizes engagement for any MTB clip-in system, whether that's Crankbrothers or SPD. It includes a Match shim and Crankbrothers cleat pre-installed in a neutral position—ready to ride with Crankbrothers pedals right out of the box.

The premium synthetic upper is made from water-resistant, durable materials and perforated for enhanced airflow and ventilation. The traditional lace closure system with lace pocket ensures a secure, comfortable fit.
Match Box
The ramped cleat box supports easy pedal entry and sheds mud effectively. The extended 35mm cleat track allows for rearward positioning, enhancing control and stability during descents. The depth of the cleat box is optimized for ideal shoe-to-pedal contact.
Match Compound
Constructed with Crankbrothers mid-friction MC1 rubber compound, offering smooth pedal engagement, reliable grip, and long-lasting durability.
Match Outsole
A Trail-specific tread pattern offers traction on and off the bike, with great walkability and optimized pedal connection. The stiff fiber-reinforced nylon shank ensures efficient power transfer, while a low-rebound EVA midsole absorbs trail vibration.
Toe Protection
A TPU-reinforced toe box paired with a wrapped front outsole offers essential impact protection for technical terrain.
