About POC
POC is a Swedish innovator and manufacturer of next level body protection and apparel for cycling and snow sports. Their prime motive is to potentially save lives and dramatically reduce the consequences of accidents, working alongside anatomy specialists and athletes alike to produce the best hardware possible.
Details
Developed and designed in close collaboration with Robin herself, this Robin Goomes Edition features signature details that tell a piece of her story: the checkers she grew up loving as a child and her hard-earned mantra, "Every day is a dream".
The Coron Air Mips Robin Goomes Edition delivers performance protection all day long. Developed using POC's Whole Helmet Concept™ to deliver superior levels of comfort, fit and performance, the helmet is optimised for all-day use.
Defined ventilation channels ensure airflow is maximised at both low and high speeds, giving comfort and coolness whether riding with or against gravity.
The inclusion of Mips in the full-face helmet works to improve overall rotational impact protection.
Specially formed ear chambers are designed to minimise the negative effect on balance and hearing associated with wearing a full-face helmet. A fibreglass shell and a multi-impact EPP liner provide impact protection and durability while maintaining a low weight.
Features
- MIPS Evolve: The rotational impact protection system featuring the well-known yellow low-friction layer.
- Multi-Impact Layer: An EPP helmet liner gives multi-impact protection.
- Fiberglass Shell: The outer shell is constructed from fiberglass to give exceptional durability.
- Breakaway Peak: The helmet's peak will break away in a fall, enhancing neck protection.
- Innovative Ventilation: The innovative airflow channels through the helmet work to keep the head cool at both high and low speeds.
- Removable Cheek Pads: Cheek pads can be easily removed after a crash, making it easier for medical professionals to remove the helmet after injury.
