Large pulley set for SHIMANO / SRAM 11s & 12s Road drivetrain
The TK1724 Shuriken pulley is the easiest member of the Shuriken family but it's not as easy as it looks - light, smooth and precise. Available in both TBT ceramic and Premium versions, the TBT version pulleys are PVD coated for long-lasting extra smoothness.
Technology
Conti Wave
Conti-Wave machining reduces chain noise by minimizing the contact surface against the chain. The chain enters the rear derailleur at various angles. The Conti-Wave tooth profile, designed for the lower pulley, ensures smooth pulley-and-chain engagement regardless of the gear position. The continuous chamfered form on the teeth's edge reduces the contact area between the teeth and chain inner plates by 82.5%, further increasing efficiency while perfectly guiding the chain.
TBT Bearings
TBT bearings are made with ceramic balls and extremely hard races for very low rolling resistance and long-lasting performance.
Premium Bearings
Premium Bearings are our high carbon steel bearings.
